Meet Emma 💫

I’m a proud mum of three, wifey to one, and dog-mum to our adorable pooch, Bonnie. 

Life is full on - but it’s full of purpose.

My journey has taken me through wellness, teaching, leadership, mentorship, mummy-hood, and entrepreneurship.

By day (and often night!), I’m an Operations Manager and swimming teacher. I also hold a Diploma in Nutrition and mentorship certification with She Leads Fundamental Coaching and have a huge passion for helping others build income streams that work around their lives.

Today, I wear a few different hats and I’m proud of that. I thrive in areas where people are supported in chasing their goals, and where positivity isn’t just a buzzword but a way of being 💜

Busy? Yes.

Meet Joanne  💫

I'm a small business owner,  wife and (knackered) mum with a seriously dodgy gene pool - born to work for myself & to help other women do the same.  

My background is in Psychology but I ditched the university degree  in 2010 and went rogue, setting up my handmade stationery business, Vintage Twee. 

In 2023, just before my 40th birthday, I founded Her Handmade Hustle supporting creative women start a business of their own. 

I am a business mentor but I much prefer the title 'Creative Business Wingwoman' which is exactly what I have printed on my business cards!

I also host the 'Her Handmade Hustle: Unplugged' podcast and recently got voted as one of the UK's Top 100 Female Leaders 2025 by Small Business Britain.

But more importantly, I'm a down-to-earth Northerner with a huge heart and I'm all about supporting other entrepreneurs to build a business that fits around their life.
